Ginny Winter psychotherapist West London Practice

Ginny Winter, BA Hons (Oxon), MSc, PG Dip. Psych

If you are suffering from emotional or relationship difficulties, feel anxious or depressed, or find yourself repeating behaviours which make you unhappy, then psychotherapy might be a powerful and important resource for you.

It takes courage to decide to address your problems but many people find talking to a psychotherapist in confidence and without judgement about underlying thoughts, feelings and behavioural patterns brings about positive changes in their lives.

I am an experienced registered psychodynamic psychotherapist and counsellor, working privately.

I offer two alternative approache of one-to-one, adult psychotherapy:

  • short-term therapy of 16 sessions, where we agree on a central focus for our work together.
  • long-term work, which allows for themes to emerge and deep-seated issues to be explored.

I also work as a parent-infant psychotherapist, to help promote the relationship between parents and their babies.  This work can start antenatally.

I work with people from a diverse range of backgrounds.

Each therapy session lasts 50 minutes and takes place at the same time each week.

If you would like to arrange an initial meeting please feel free to contact me by email or leave a message for me on my mobile phone.  Together we will explore what has led you to seek therapy now and your expectations of therapy.

There is no commitment to ongoing work at this point.  This main purpose of the initial meeting is to help both of us decide if psychotherapy is the right approach for you. If we decide to continue together we would decide on an ongoing session fee and agree a regular time to meet each week.
